OBSERVATIONS

It runs along the old road of a mining railway and brings us to the remains of the Pozo Nuevo mine.

The first section of this trail runs along an old mining railroad track between pine trees and other species of Mediterranean forest vegetation: holm oaks, cork oaks and thickets of rockrose, rosemary, lavender and marjoram.
Upon reaching the remains of the mine, known as Pozo Nuevo, we see buildings and infrastructure of the old mine, which stopped working in 1963 and has a depth of 570m.
From the Viewpoint we can see a panoramic view of the Grande River Valley and the El Puntal mountain massif
Back, we descend through a firewall from which we see the town of El Centenillo and ruins of old mines. Finally we crossed an old railway tunnel.
