DESCRIPTION

Andujar is one of those lesser known destinations, but with a great variety of tourist resources to enjoy and discover. Natural Park is a unique place, inhabited by the Iberian lynx and a spectacular biodiversity. There are many trails that cross it with an important activity of sighting flora and fauna throughout the year. The Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Head is one of the most important places of pilgrimage in Spain. Andujar also has impressive olive tree fields, a deeply rooted flamenco tradition, a wellknown artisan pottery activity and gastronomic delights that you can experience through a tapas tour. We invite you to discover Andujar and its Natural Park with all your senses, we assure you that it will be a memorable experience that you can enjoy in the company of our local host and her friends.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Arrival 

Pick up and transfer to the hotel. Lunch and free time to get in touch with the city. 

Day 2 - Ceramics and honey

A day dedicated to the sweet taste of honey. We are going to visit an Apiculture Interpretation Center and a candle making factory that uses natural beeswax. In the afternoon, we will visit a pottery works-hop, where you can make your own piece.

Day 3 - Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Head

We will go up to the impressive Sanctuary of the Virgin of the Cabeza, where we will tell you all the stories behind this unique site. For lunch, we will eat a picnic in the area.

Day 4 - Historic center and tapas

We will visit the city’s old quarter to discover its Archaeological Museum and other interesting religious monuments. For lunch, we have prepared a tapas tour through some of the local taverns. In the afternoon, we will visit a guitar workshop, where the local crafts-man still makes them by hand.

Day 5 - Ecological garden and gastronomy

We will go to an urban ecological gar-den and have a cooking workshop, to learn how to prepare the typical local dishes.

Day 6 - Olives and oil

A visit to an oil mill where we will discover and taste all the varieties of olive oil.

Day 7 - Farewell

We will pick up our ceramic piece, baked in the pottery workshop. You will now return to your place of origin, or to your next destination.
